Ansel Island is an outpost island located in the Onyx Archipelago. There are four known routes from the island: Adder Ridge, Last Stand Hill, Polaris Point, and Labyrinth Moors.

History
A rock east of the fort reads, "This island were fashioned by Tamsin."
Blockades
Ansel I: 2006-02-11, Imperial Coalition took the island in a three-round blockade against Choking Hazard. Imperial Coalition took the first two rounds, many points ahead. Choking Hazard admitted defeat toward the end of round two.
Ansel II: 2007-06-16, Imperial Coalition successfully defends the island from Azarbad the Great and The All-Consuming Flame in the first ever Brigand King blockade on the Viridian Ocean in a four round sinking blockade. Initially the Azarbad's fleet strength was listed at a power of 2 but at the request of the Imperial Coalition the Ocean Masters sent in additional waves of ships.
Ansel III: 2007-09-23, Imperial Coalition again successfully defends Ansel island from Azarbad the Great and The All-Consuming Flame in a three round sinking blockade. This time around the fleet of The All-Consuming Flame was rated at a power of eight. Imperial Coalition fielded a very strong fleet and was able to completly control the blockade, sinking The All-Consuming Flame fleet by the end of round two as well as a handful of War Frigates of Shadow Knights brought into the blockade with the intent of targeting Imperial Coalition ships. The All-Consuming Flame did not seriously contest round three.
